Declaration header

Under “Declaration header”, there are fields e.g. for the following details:

  • the reference you use 
  • period for which the declaration is lodged
  • is provided also if there are no goods to declare

Trader reference

The trader reference is a free-form reference issued by the declarant that identifies the customs declaration. The reference can contain no more than 22 characters, and it can consist of numbers, letters, or special characters.

Period

Enter the first day of the month for ship supplies as the day of the period. You can write the date or choose it from the calendar.

Activate “No goods to declare”, if you have not delivered any ship supplies during the declaration period.

Additional information

If needed, provide one or more than one additional information code concerning the whole declaration under “Additional information”. If you need to provide other additional information, clicking on “+ Add additional information”. As a rule, no additional information is provided in the monthly declaration for ship supplies. 

  • FICON – Declarant requests the contact of the Customs Officer
  • FIPDF – Declarant requests customs clearance documents in PDF format
  • FIXVT – Warehouse ID or other location identifier
    • In the “Description” field, provide the warehouse ID or address of the warehouse, that is, the warehouse or facility from which the supplies included in the declaration were dispatched.
      • Provide the warehouse ID issued by Customs or the Tax Administration or if you don’t have one, provide the address
    • Th declarations are provided for each warehouse or facility
  • FI586 – Monthly declaration for ship supplies submitted for an accounting period more than 3 months in the past
    • Used only in exceptional situations with Customs’ permission
