Presentation notification for a pre-lodged transit declaration
You can submit the presentation notification in the “Summary and submission” tab of the pre-lodged declaration. Click on “Presentation notification”, and you can start completing the notification. You can edit other fields except the inactive (grey) fields.
You can fill in or edit the following details:
Parties:
- Contact details of the contact person.
Declaration header:
- Customs offices:
- Details of the customs office of departure. If you have pre-lodged a declaration as an authorised consignor and provided the time limit for “Arrival at destination” in the declaration, edit the time limit if needed. If you didn’t provide the time limit in the pre-lodged declaration, provide it here.
- Locations:
- Goods location at the time of presentation
- Type of location
- Details of the type of location. If you didn’t provide this detail in the pre-lodged declaration, provide it here.
- Transport information
- You can edit “Departure transport means” and “Containers and seals”.
When you have provided all the details, click on “Next”. Go to the “Summary and submission” tab, where you can submit the notification by clicking on “Send presentation notification”.
When the presentation notification has been registered, you can, under the standard transit procedure, request release from the nearest customs office. If you are an authorised consignor, check that the transit status has changed to “Released” before the transport of the goods begins.
