Arrival at exit

The Arrival at Exit notification is submitted for all goods that arrive at the place of exit under the export procedure, when they exit Finland on a ship, aircraft or train and are taken out of the EU. The notification is submitted by the carrier or the carrier’s representative that transports the goods from the place of exit. The notification can’t be submitted until the goods have arrived at the place of exit. The notification is not submitted for goods transported by road.

When Customs has accepted the Arrival at Exit notification, the state of the export declaration changes to “Arrived”. Then the goods can be loaded onto the means of transport on which the goods will exit Finland. If the goods may not be loaded onto the means of transport, you will receive an exit release rejection.

MRN

Provide the MRN of the export declaration for which you are submitting the "Arrival at exit" notification. You can only provide the MRN of one export declaration in the notification.

Customs office of exit

From the drop-down menu, select the customs office of exit in Finland where the goods are located and through which the goods will exit the EU territory.

Discrepancies

Tick the box “Discrepancies exist”, if discrepancies from the declared details have been detected at the place of exit.

Description

Describe the detected discrepancies. You should also submit an amendment request regarding the export declaration and provide the detected discrepancies.

Contact person

The contact person is the submitter of the notification. If needed, Customs may ask the contact person for additional information.

If you have saved your details in advance in the settings, you can tick the box “Use the details of the authenticated person”, in which case the service automatically fills in the details of the contact person. If you are not using the details of the authenticated person, enter your name, email address and phone number in the fields.

Representative

If you are submitting the notification as a representative, add your details under “Representative” by clicking on the button “+Add representative”. A forwarding agency, for example, can act as a representative. The representative must always have an EORI number if the representative is a company. The service automatically fills in ”2 – Direct representation” as the status of representation.

If you are not using the details of the authenticated trader, enter the identification number in the notification. The service will automatically complete the fields for name and address details as well as trader nature, if the identification number is an EORI number. Otherwise, enter the name, street address, postal code and city and select the country from the drop-down menu.

Trader at exit

Provide the trader that operates the means of transport used to transport the goods from the place of exit.

Location of goods

Provide the location where the goods are loaded onto the means of transport that will carry the goods out of the EU territory. The alternatives are ”C – Approved place” and “D – Other”. If you select "C – Approved place", provide the warehouse ID. If you select "D – Other", enter the address where the goods are located.

Contact person for control

Provide the name and contact details of the person that Customs can contact if Customs wants to inspect the goods.
