Declaration lists
The service displays four different lists according to declaration state. The lists are in the tabs “Drafts”, “In progress”, “Finished” and “My templates”.
Here are some general instructions on the declaration states. On the subpages, there are separate instructions on using the declaration lists “Drafts”, “Finished” and “My templates” (for the instructions on using the tab “In progress” and on browsing and filtering declarations, see the section “Basic information”).
Declaration states
When the state of a declaration changes, the declaration can move from one list to another. For example, when the goods are released for the import or customs warehousing procedure, the declaration will move from the list “In progress” to the list “Finished”.
When you want to view the state of a declaration, select the appropriate declaration row. You can also move to the next or the previous column using the Tab key and open the highlighted row by clicking on the Enter key.
The declaration state can be one of the following:
- Sent = The declaration has been sent from the service and is waiting to be accepted or registered by Customs.
- Accepted = The declaration has been received, but is still being processed by Customs. If you have lodged a temporary storage declaration, the state of the accepted declaration is “Registered”.
- Registered = Customs has registered the declaration. If you have pre-lodged a declaration for the import, customs warehousing or export procedure, the processing of the declaration will continue when the goods are presented. If you have lodged a temporary storage declaration, the state of the accepted declaration is “Registered”.
- Arrived = The goods have arrived at the place of exit and the “Arrival at Exit” notification for export has been submitted.
- Exit confirmed = The goods have exited the EU and the export procedure has ended.
- Arrived = The transit goods have been presented at their destination and the transit guarantee has been released.
- Discharged = The transit procedure has ended.
- Unloading in progress = Customs has issued an unloading permission for the goods placed under the transit procedure.
- Discrepancies to be solved = There are discrepancies to be solved in the unloading report for the transit procedure.
- Rejected = The declaration has been rejected and the processing of the declaration will not continue.
- Waiting for response = Customs has requested additional information about the declaration or amendment of the declaration or Customs will inspect the declared goods.
- Waiting for payment = The customs invoice must be paid before the goods are released for free circulation.
- Notification from Customs = Customs has sent a notification, which may require measures from the customer. The notification may concern e.g. an insufficient import guarantee, which requires measures from the customer.
- Amendment sent = Customs has received the amended declaration.
- Amendment rejected = The amendment request has been rejected.
- Released = The goods have been released for the customs procedure (also after amendment).
- Invalidated = The declaration has been invalidated.
- Discharged = The declared goods have left the customs warehouse and a discharge notification has been submitted for the declaration.
- Released – discharge rejected = The discharge notification has been rejected.
- Draft = a declaration that you have started completing but that you haven’t sent to Customs yet.
- Template = The details you filled in have been saved as a template that you can use to complete a new declaration.
- Supplementary declaration rejected = The declaration has been rejected and the processing of the declaration will not continue. If you have for example corrected other than the allowed type of information in your supplementary declaration, you should fix the incorrect information. Once you have done that, submit the corrected declaration.
Finished declarations
Here are some general instructions on using the declaration list “Finished”.
For the general instructions on browsing and filtering declarations, see the section “Basic information”. For more information about the declaration states, see the section “Declaration lists”.
Details displayed on the list
When you have selected the “Finished” tab, you can see the following details on the list: declaration MRN, state, trader reference, declaration, procedure, declarant, last change and last document.
When you select a declaration row, the “Summary and submission” page of that declaration opens.
The last column of the declaration has the link “Last document” and a PDF document icon. If this link is displayed, there is a document attached to the declaration. When you click on this link, the attached document opens in a new tab. If the column is empty, no document has been attached to the declaration.
Creating a template using a finished declaration
You can create a declaration template for yourself of declarations on the “Finished” list. For instructions on creating a new template, see the section “Summary and submission”.
Drafts
In the “Drafts” tab, you can see the declarations that you have started completing but that you have not yet sent to Customs.
For the general instructions on browsing and filtering declarations, see the section “Basic information”. For more information about the declaration states, see the section “Declaration lists”.
Saving a draft
When you edit a declaration or create a new declaration, the service will automatically save the details you have entered as a draft.
The information about a created draft is shown at the top of the page above the declaration details.
You can save a declaration draft by clicking on “Close”, while you are completing a declaration. The draft will also be saved if you move from the declaration to the front page by clicking on the “Go to the front page” button with the Customs logo.
Continue with a draft
When you wish to continue with a draft, retrieve it from the “Drafts” tab e.g. by filtering. When you have chosen the draft, fill in the missing and changed details in the declaration.
If you have saved a draft of a previous transit declaration, you cannot change the details in the field “Security” or the authorisation details in the original declaration details.
If you want to delete a draft, open it from the “Drafts” list and click on ”Delete”.
My templates
In the “My templates” tab you can see the finished templates created in your business’s name. Here you will find instructions on how to use a finished template to complete a new declaration and how to edit templates (for instructions on creating a new template, see the section “Summary and submission”).
For the general instructions on browsing and filtering declarations, see the section “Basic information”. For more information about the declaration states, see the section “Declaration lists”.
Details displayed on the list
The finished templates are shown as a list. The following details are displayed for each template: template name, declaration, additional declaration type, procedure, declarant, warehouse and last change.
Using a template
When you wish to use a finished template, retrieve it from the list e.g. by the search function. By selecting a declaration you will move to the “Summary and submission” page of the declaration, where you can choose what to do with the template.

By clicking on “Close” you can return to the “My templates” list. By clicking on “Print”, you can print out the template.
Editing a template
When you wish to edit a finished template, retrieve it from the list e.g. by the search function. By selecting a declaration you will move to the “Summary and submission” page of the declaration, where you can choose what to do with the template.
