Use an earlier declaration to create a draft that you can complete as a new declaration

From the ‘Finished’ list of declarations, open the declaration you want to use for a draft. Click ‘Create copy’ at the bottom of the ‘Summary and submission’.

The system asks whether you want to save the copy to your templates by clicking ‘OK’ or to use the copy as a draft by clicking ‘Cancel’. If you want the draft, click ‘Cancel’.

The system creates a draft. At the top of the page you can see when the draft was created.

The declaration details are copied to the new draft declaration. An exception to this is the trader’s own reference number, which is a declaration-specific detail and must always be declared separately in the declaration.

Check all the details carefully. Pay particular attention to the quantity details and container IDs, if any, and edit them as appropriate.
